Darius Dugas joined Cox Baker & Page, LLC in 2012 as an associate attorney. While in law school, Darius interned for Denver District Court Judge Michael Martinez of the 2nd Judicial District, where he was able to gain valuable experience in motions practice and courtroom procedure. Darius has been immersed in family law since his second year in law school when he became a law clerk to a prominent family law firm. Darius’ passion for family law grew during law school through participation in the Children’s Legal Advocacy Ground (CLAG) as well as Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL). Darius’ practice at Cox Baker & Page, LLC focuses on family law, as well as bankruptcy and appellate law.

Education

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Montana, Darius worked for several years growing a family business. Darius received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Darius is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

Professional Associations

Darius is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Colorado, Denver, Douglas and Elbert County Bar Associations. He is an officer of the Douglas/Elbert Bar Association.

Darius is an active participant in the Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Litigation sections of the Colorado Bar Association.

Darius also sits on the committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
