Brown Bag Lunch Talk with Douglas County Domestic Court Judges

Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce a brown bag lunch talk with Douglas County Domestic Court Judges to be held on June 22
nd, 2017, in Division 6 at the Douglas County Courthouse from
noon until 1:30 pm. The Honorable Natalie Chase and the Honorable Gary Kramer will be hosting the discussion, which will include the following topics:
- How each division handles procedural issues that come up, i.e., settings, emergency motions, discovery disputes, etc.;
- The current state of their respective dockets;
- The Court’s recommendations for attorneys in their motions practice and trial presentation; and
- Attorneys suggestions of what the Court should keep doing or could do differently.
The Douglas County Courthouse is located at:
4000 Justice Way, Castle Rock, CO 80109
As a reminder, individuals are not permitted to pass through security with outside food and beverages. Accordingly, lunch offerings will be available from Gourmet to Go, with the following sandwich options, along with a salad and cookie, each for the price of $10.25:
- Turkey & Avocado;
- Ham & Swiss;
- Chicken Salad;
- Veggie.
Drink selections include;
- Coke;
- Diet Coke;
- Sprite;
- Spring Water.
Seating is limited, so reservations are required and will be limited to the first 50 registrants. We are also requesting that only one member per law firm register at this time. After
June 16, any additional law firm members may register subject to availability.
We encourage our members to register, pay and note their lunch request online using the below payment form.
If you are unable to do so online, please send your RSVP and any lunch request to our Treasurer, Karin Van Zee at
kvanzeelaw@earthlink.net so we can let our caterer know how many members we are anticipating and their lunch requests. All reservations must be received no later than
noon on
June 20, 2017. We look forward to seeing you there!
